1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

• The iOS App Perpetual Calendar (Bundle ID: com.juzipie.calendar);
• The App's home screen widgets;
• Premium subscription and one-time purchase services offered through the App.

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services that you may access via links outside the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide or Generate in the App

The App primarily stores data locally on your device. The following data is stored on your device by default:

We do not upload the above data to our own servers. Unless you actively use backup features or Apple system services, this data does not leave your device.

2.2 iCloud Backup & Sync (Premium Feature, Optional)

If you subscribe to premium and use Backup & Sync, the App will:

1. Package the user data described above into JSON;
2. Encrypt it locally using AES;
3. Upload the encrypted backup file to your iCloud Drive container under your Apple ID (iCloud.com.juzipie.calendar);
4. Store the encryption key in iCloud Keychain so you can decrypt and restore on other devices signed in with the same Apple ID.

In this process:

• Backup data is stored in your iCloud account, using Apple's infrastructure;
• We cannot access, read, or decrypt your iCloud backup content;
• Whether iCloud, iCloud Keychain, and storage space are available depends on your Apple account and system settings.

2.3 Local Export / Import Backup (Premium Feature, Optional)

You may export an encrypted backup file to your device or save it via the system share sheet to a location of your choice (e.g., Files app, third-party cloud storage). You are responsible for safeguarding exported files; we are not responsible for the security of external storage you choose.

2.4 Information Processed by Apple

The following is processed directly by Apple Inc. and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy:

• App Store purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and restore purchases;
• Apple ID authentication;
• iCloud Drive and iCloud Keychain storage and sync.

2.5 Feedback

When you contact us via Feedback, the content you provide (and information your mail client may attach, such as device model, OS version, and app version) is sent to zhimaruanjian@163.com and used solely to respond to your inquiry.

2.6 Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not:

• Require account registration or collect real-name identifiers such as legal name, phone number, or government ID;
• Integrate third-party advertising or ad-tracking SDKs;
• Sell your personal information;
• Use personal data for purposes unrelated to the App without your knowledge.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above only to:

• Provide core features including calendar, lunar calendar, almanac, holidays, and utilities;
• Save and restore your personalized settings and reminder data;
• Perform encrypted backup and cross-device sync when you authorize it;
• Verify premium entitlements and unlock corresponding features;
• Respond to support requests;
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

Except as described below, we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties:

1. With your explicit consent;
2. Apple system services: To complete purchases, iCloud backup, Keychain sync, etc., data is processed on Apple's infrastructure according to Apple's mechanisms;
3. Legal requirements: To comply with laws, court orders, or lawful government requests;
4. Protection of rights: When reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, users, or the public.

5. Storage and Security

• User data is primarily stored locally on your iOS device;
• Backup data is AES-encrypted; keys are managed via iCloud Keychain;
• We apply industry-standard measures to protect in-app data handling.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You should safeguard your Apple ID credentials and use backup/restore only on trusted devices.

6. Data Retention

• On-device data: Retained until you uninstall the App or clear app data; local data is deleted upon uninstall unless you have backed it up via iCloud or other means.
• iCloud backup: Retained in your iCloud account until you overwrite the backup in the App, delete related files in iCloud, or disable/delete your iCloud account or service.
• Feedback emails: Retained for a reasonable period after resolution, or as required by law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on applicable law in your region, you may have the right to:

• Access and correct: View and modify most preferences in Settings; manage reminders and records in their respective screens;
• Delete: Delete individual reminders or records; uninstalling the App deletes local data;
• Backup control: Premium users may choose whether to back up, export, or restore from iCloud or local files;
• Subscription management: Manage or cancel auto-renewal in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions;
• Contact us: Submit privacy-related requests to zhimaruanjian@163.com.

We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. International Transfers

If you use iCloud or other Apple services, your data may be processed on Apple's global infrastructure. By using the App, you understand such processing may involve cross-border transfers and is governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you in the App or by other reasonable means. The updated policy takes effect upon publication; continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
