Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

• the iOS Cagely app (Bundle ID: com.juzipie.calcudoku.ios); and
• in-app membership offered through the App (monthly subscription, yearly subscription, and lifetime purchase).

It does not apply to third-party websites or services that you may open through external links.

2. Information we process

The App does not require an account and does not collect your name, phone number, email address, contacts, or precise location. Puzzles are bundled on your device and may also be generated on device; board contents are not uploaded to us.

If you buy a subscription or lifetime membership, Apple processes payment through the App Store / StoreKit. We only receive success status, product identifiers, and what is needed to restore purchases. We do not receive your full card number or Apple ID password. Apple’s processing is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.

2.3 Analytics information (Firebase Analytics)

To understand feature usage and improve the product, the App integrates Google Firebase Analytics using the Analytics component that does not collect IDFA. We may process the following de-identified or pseudonymous usage and device information:

• Screen and feature views
• Actions such as opening the membership screen, purchases, restore, rate, and feedback
• Share activity: the share channel only, not the shared text
• Technical information collected by the Firebase SDK (app version, device model, OS version, language/region, and app instance identifier)

We do not collect IDFA through the App and do not request App Tracking Transparency. This data is processed by Google LLC (and its affiliates) on our behalf under the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms. Google may store and process it on its global infrastructure. Puzzle boards and shared text are not uploaded for analytics.

3. How we use information

• Provide cage-arithmetic puzzles, daily challenge, notes, undo, hints, revive, and the calculator;
• Save progress and results so you can continue playing and review history;
• Verify and restore membership benefits (unlimited hints, themes, custom error limits, revive, and similar);
• Respond if you contact us by email.
• Understand which screens and features are used, via Google Firebase Analytics (no IDFA).

4. Sharing and transfers

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share on-device game data with third parties except:

• information required for Apple to complete an in-app purchase;
• where required by law, or to protect users, the public, or our legitimate rights; or
• with your explicit consent; or
• product analytics processed by Google Firebase, as described in section 2.3.

Purchases may be processed on Apple’s servers. Game boards stay on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. Usage analytics described in section 2.3 are processed by Google.

5. Retention and deletion

The information in section 2.1 stays on your device. Uninstalling the App, clearing app data, or resetting stats in Settings removes it from that device. Apple retains purchase records under Apple’s rules.

Firebase Analytics data is kept under Google’s default retention and the settings in the Firebase console. After you uninstall the App, the device generally stops sending new events. Aggregated analytics may not be linkable to you. To ask about deletion, email us using the contact below.

6. Your choices

• Change sound, theme, error limit, and other settings in the App;
• Reset statistics or clear an unfinished game where the App provides that action;
• Manage or cancel subscriptions and auto-renewal in system settings;
• Uninstall the App to delete local data;
• Limit analytics by restricting the App’s network access in system settings, and email us if you want help with analytics data (aggregated data may not be tied to you);
• Email us about privacy questions using the contact below.

7. Children

The App is intended for a general audience. We do not direct it at children under 13 and do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe we have processed a child’s information in error, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

Local data is stored in the iOS sandbox using standard files and UserDefaults. No electronic storage is completely secure. Please protect your device and lock screen.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by the date on this page, an in-app notice, or another reasonable method. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
