Privacy Policy
LOVE ORANGE TECHNOLOGY CO.,LTD (“we”, “us”, or “our”) develops and operates the iOS app Noise Meter (the “App”, Bundle ID com.hengha.soundmeter.ios). This Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
By using the App, you confirm that you have read this Policy together with the Terms of Service. If you do not agree, uninstall the App and stop using it.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to the Noise Meter iOS app and optional Noise Meter Pro purchases (monthly subscription, yearly subscription, and lifetime unlock). It does not apply to third-party websites you open from the App, such as official regulation pages.
2. Information we process
The App does not require an account and does not ask for your real name, government ID, phone number, contacts, or biometric identifiers. Measurement records stay on your device. We do not operate a user-data server that receives your history, microphone audio, photos, or map points.
2.1 Stored on your device

Temporary audio buffers are used to compute decibels. Raw microphone samples are not kept as a long-term library unless you save or export audio. If iCloud Backup or an encrypted computer backup is on, this on-device data may be included under Apple’s rules. We do not receive those backups.
2.2 Information you choose to send
- Feedback email. We receive what you write, your email address, and any device details you include (the App can prefill app version, device model, and iOS version).
- Share / export. The destination app or service (Mail, Files, another person) processes that content under its own terms.
- Official documents. Opening a regulation source loads a third-party website. That site’s policy applies.
2.3 Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
To understand feature usage, the App integrates Google Firebase Analytics using the component that does not collect IDFA. We may process de-identified or pseudonymous usage and device information:
- Screen and feature views (for example Measure, Camera, History, Settings)
- Actions such as rate, feedback, paywall view, checkout, purchase, cancel, pending, fail, and restore
- Share channel only — not the shared text, photos, videos, or files
- Technical information collected by the Firebase SDK (app version, device model, OS version, language/region, app instance identifier)
This data is processed by Google LLC (and its affiliates) on our behalf under the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms. Google may store and process it on its global infrastructure. Measurement recordings and shared files are not uploaded for analytics.
2.4 Purchases processed by Apple
Apple processes payment through the App Store / StoreKit. We only receive what is needed to unlock or restore Pro. We do not receive your card number or Apple ID password.
3. Device permissions
Permissions are requested at the moment of use. You can change them in iOS Settings. Turning a permission off disables only the features that need it.

5. Retention, security, and your choices
On-device records remain until you delete them, clear App storage, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling usually deletes local App data and cannot be undone by us. Firebase Analytics is kept under Google’s default retention and our Firebase settings. After uninstall, the device generally stops sending new events.
- Open History to view or delete records; adjust calibration in Settings;
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Use Restore Purchases after reinstall;
- Limit analytics by restricting the App’s network access;
- Email us to ask about deletion of analytics we can reasonably identify. Aggregated data may not be linkable to you.
If you have additional privacy rights in your region, email us. We will respond after we can reasonably verify the request, usually within 15 business days, or sooner if the law requires it.
6. Children and international users
The App is a general-audience utility. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We are established in the People’s Republic of China. On-device processing happens on your device. Emails you send us are received in China. Apple and Google may process purchase, maps, and analytics data in the locations described in their policies.
7. Changes
We may update this Policy when the product, law, or our practices change. The date on this page will change. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
